Twirly choc in a can
Your edible stirrer for on the go or at home
TWIRL IT LIKE IT'S HOT 🔥☕️! Edible stirrers instead of plastic!
The fact that we are not fans of disposable plastic and that disposable cutlery has been banned in the EU since July 2021 should be known to everyone by now 🎉 . But what we dislike almost as much is the unpleasant taste of wood before we want to drink our coffee with pleasure and have mixed it with some milk beforehand.
But that's over now, too! Because we welcome the Twirly choc to our Spoontainable family 👋🏽. Our edible stirrer is just as cool, sustainable and practical as it sounds.
The Twirly goes perfectly with coffee, tea or a hot chocolate. Simply stir your favourite hot drink with the Twirly and then enjoy it as an additional snack. Because our edible stir stick is a biscuit and stirrer in one!
The Twirly choc is now available in a practical tin. Our edible stirrers are finally coming to your home, so you can enjoy your favourite hot drink in a sustainable way. Because our Twirly choc is a biscuit and stirrer in one.
With our edible stirrers in a tin, you're also perfectly equipped for on-the-go and never need to use a wooden or plastic stirrer again. Our sustainability tin contains 75 edible stir sticks. - Edible does not equal sustainable. But with us it is! We use rescued cocoa shells, which is why our Twirly choc is a truly sustainable plastic alternative.
But what is the edible stir stick actually made of?
The Twirly choc is our first edible stir stick made from the shells of the cocoa bean. These shells are left over as residue during chocolate production, although they contain valuable nutrients and fibre. We process these shell residues into fibres, which are then used to make our edible stir stick. So not only do we use sustainable raw materials and natural ingredients, by upcycling the cocoa shells we also ensure a sustainable circular economy.
More about the edible stirrer:
Our edible stirrer tastes of cocoa and dark chocolate because we use the fibres of the cocoa shell. We deliberately use little sweetness so that the coffee or tea remains in focus. Because the twirly can simply be eaten afterwards. Even if our stirrer is disposed of biologically, you don't need to have a guilty conscience, because it is made from renewable raw materials.
We don't just upcycle the cocoa bean shells. You can also reuse the tin, for example for spices. Our tin is mainly made of cardboard and is therefore also perfect for upcycling as a pen holder or much more!
