But what is the edible stir stick actually made of?
The Twirly choc is our first edible stir stick made from the shells of the cocoa bean. These shells are left over as residue during chocolate production, although they contain valuable nutrients and fibre. We process these shell residues into fibres, which are then used to make our edible stir stick. So not only do we use sustainable raw materials and natural ingredients, by upcycling the cocoa shells we also ensure a sustainable circular economy.

Our edible stirrer tastes of cocoa and dark chocolate because we use the fibres of the cocoa shell. We deliberately use little sweetness so that the coffee or tea remains in focus. Because the twirly can simply be eaten afterwards. Even if our stirrer is disposed of biologically, you don't need to have a guilty conscience, because it is made from renewable raw materials.
We don't just upcycle the cocoa bean shells. You can also reuse the tin, for example for spices. Our tin is mainly made of cardboard and is therefore also perfect for upcycling as a pen holder or much more!
