The worldwide challenge with pasta and rice straws in support of MBRC THE OCEAN and other organizations

The goal: The drinking straw manufacturers Stroodles Group (rice straws) and 2 Grad GmbH (pasta straws) want to sell 50,000 starter packs, each containing a total of 2,600 pasta and rice straws, to bars, restaurants, hotels, etc. and the beverage industry worldwide starting in May 2024 with the drinking straw challenge in order to support the organization MBRC THE OCEAN and others with over 125,000 euros at the end of the challenge.

The global challenge - the rules

The buyer of a starter package places his self-promotion as a post on the social wall https://my.walls.io/CoolDrinksNoWaste and informs his community about his commitment on social media channels. He informs two suitable colleagues about the challenge and, if they are interested, nominates them to follow his positive example and accept the nomination, each to order a starter pack within 48 hours, and each to nominate two other candidates for the challenge.

The global challenge - motivation and benefits

Clean oceans, coasts, and beaches free of plastic waste motivate all participants and supporters. Everyone benefits from the worldwide interest in the challenge and from one of the largest and most globally significant social walls. Each participant also acquires the right to offer their customers the cocktail "MBRC THE OCEAN," developed exclusively during the challenge, in an exclusive cocktail glass with an NFC tag.

The worldwide challenge - the patron Maren Meyer

Maren Meyer has been Chairwoman of the German Barkeeper Union eV von 1909 (German Barkeeper Union of 1909) since 2021. The passionate bartender impresses with her global networks in both the bar and beverage industries. Maren was immediately enthusiastic about the idea of selling 50,000 sustainable drinking straw starter sets from Stroodles and 2 Grad worldwide in order to support the MBRC THE OCEAN organization with a generous donation. As patron and face of the "CoolDrinksNoWaste" campaign, Maren has taken on the task of activating her networks and encouraging participation. Maren will present the check to the MBRC THE OCEAN leadership team at a press conference in Hamburg at the conclusion of the challenge. In return, she will be officially appointed an ambassador for this organization.
